It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martin Cleaver, Founder and Director of Cleaver Property Management.

Martin dedicated more than four decades of his life to the property industry, founding Cleaver Property Management with a clear vision: to create a business built on trust, professionalism and genuine care for people. Under his guidance, the company grew not just in scale, but in reputation — known for integrity, consistency and personal service.

In a reflective piece written on the occasion of his retirement, Martin spoke with humility about his journey, his gratitude to colleagues, clients and advisors and his pride in the team that would carry the business forward. He never viewed success as an individual achievement, but as something created collectively through strong relationships and shared values.

Martin was a generous mentor, a thoughtful leader and a constant source of encouragement to those around him. He was deeply proud of his family and especially grateful for the unwavering support of his wife Sue throughout his career.

While Martin may no longer be with us, his values, vision and spirit remain firmly embedded in our company. His legacy will continue to guide us in the years ahead.

Our heartfelt condolences are with his family and all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
