Directors

Managing Director

Sarah joined Cleaver Property Management in 2015, following ten years as a Personal Assistant, where she gained invaluable skills such as administration, client liaison and contract ratification. During her six years at Cleaver Property Management, Sarah has worked alongside her parents, Martin & Susan, to gain experience in all aspects of the family business. Sarah's key role during this time has been in Property Management, having completed an IRPM (Institute Of Residential Property Management) Qualification. Sarah has now stepped into the role of Managing Director following Martin's retirement and is fully active in this role.

Operations Director

Zoë joined Cleaver Property Management in 2015 to strengthen the in-house administration aspects of the company, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Zoë also deals with all Solicitors’ enquiries relating to the sales and re-mortgaging of properties, and provides additional support to the Property and Maintenance Administrators. And, on top of all that, Zoë is also responsible for organising our fantastic company events!

Director

Susan started the business in 1993 with her husband, Martin. Prior to that, Susan worked for Johnson & Johnson and Dell Computers in a variety of administrative roles. She now specialises in Accounting and Personnel within the business, ensuring that all aspects of the financial management for our Clients are effectively delivered.

Director (retired)

Martin has worked within both commercial and residential property sectors, gaining experience with Unisys and PriceWaterhouseCoopers before specialising in residential property at a company based in Wokingham. He has over 25 years’ experience of managing residential property and has been responsible for developing the business as a high quality Property Management Company. Martin has now retired from his day-to-day duties but still stands as a Director of the company alongside his wife, Susan.

Executive Assistant

Having joined our team in January 2024, Kezia

brings a wealth of experience from managing a salon and working at a veterinary clinic. Known for her exceptional organizational skills, Kezia keeps our office running smoothly. Outside of work, she indulges in her passions for beauty, makeup, and hair, channeling her creativity into stunning looks. An avid animal lover, Kezia shares her home with three adorable dogs, including an adorable sausage dog.

Head of Property Management

Charlie is an experienced and highly skilled Property Manager with a wealth of knowledge spanning a decade. With a remarkable track record in managing diverse properties and having achieved the MIRPM qualification, Charlie’s expertise in the field is evident in her strategic approach to property management, and her ability to navigate complex challenges with ease. Outside of her professional life, Charlie finds joy in spending quality time with her young family. Embracing an active lifestyle, she can often be found exploring the great outdoors with her two lovable French bulldogs, appreciating the simple pleasures in life.

Junior Property Manager

Joined our team in November 2023, Ben our enthusiastic Junior Property Manager, whose journey from the world of mixology in Sydney, Australia, has seamlessly transitioned into the dynamic realm of Property Management. Armed with a unique blend of skills and a newfound passion for the property industry, Ben brings a fresh perspective to our team. Beyond the professional landscape, Ben unleashes his creativity in his spare time by printing T-shirts adorned with his own imaginative designs. His ability to blend creativity with a keen eye for property management makes Ben a valuable asset to our team. 

Property Manager

Emma became part of the Cleaver Property Management team in September 2021. Emma had previously been working in Lettings Property Management at larger firms, and has so far taken all aspects of Block Management in her stride. She has recently passed the first set of IRPM exams. When she's not looking after her management portfolio, you may find Emma performing on stage as part of the Reading Operatic Society.

Junior Property Manager

Meet Karan, our Junior Property Manager with a Master's in Civil Engineering from the University of Greenwich. With prior experience managing both commercial and residential blocks in India, Karan brings practical expertise to our team. Beyond his professional pursuits, he's an enthusiastic explorer and a culinary aficionado, always eager to discover new areas and cook up new dishes in his spare time. A fun fact about Karan: he used to be a professional volleyball player, showcasing his versatility and commitment to excellence. Thrilled to have Karan on board, his diverse skills and passions add vibrancy to our approach to property management.

Junior Property Manager

Our Junior Property Manager,Taf , combines academic prowess and practical experience having started his career in Property as an Apprentice Surveyor. Having studied Real Estate Property Management at UCEM, Taf brings a fresh perspective to our team. Outside the property world, Taf is a passionate traveler and an avid food connoisseur, he brings a taste for variety and attention to detail to both his professional and personal pursuits. 

Property Manager

Tim joined the Cleaver Property Management team in October 2021. Tim brings a wealth of skills to the team, having worked his way up to management in various industries over the years. Most recently he was a Territory Manager for a large audio company. Tim has so far exceeded all expectations of the role and we look forward to many more years with him as part of our team.

Head of Accounts

Jennifer is our Head of Accounts, whose passion for numbers is as steadfast as her dedication to her craft. With a decade of experience in the field, Jennifer brings unparalleled expertise to our team, ensuring our financial matters are handled with precision and care. Beyond her role, Jennifer is a devoted mother of three, balancing the demands of work with the joys of family life. In her downtime, she indulges in self-care, delighting in pampering sessions for her nails and lashes. An aficionado of scents, Jennifer's love for perfumes adds a touch of elegance to her vibrant personality.

Senior Accounts Manager

Cheryl joined Cleaver Property Management in April 2021, following 20+ years in the banking sector. Cheryl now works alongside Ben on their Management portfolio. A born and bred Kiwi, Cheryl has been a great addition to the team, both for her skillset and her positive energy. Get to know her and you might just get to hear one of the many stories she has to tell!

Junior Accounts Manager

Introducing Diana, our accomplished Junior Accounts Manager with a robust educational background and a passion for diverse interests. Armed with a degree in agriculture and a Masters in Management and Audits, Diana is currently expanding her expertise through ongoing studies in business management and AAT accounting qualification. Beyond the world of finance, Diana's creativity flourishes in her spare time. A talented painter, avid reader, and skilled baker, she finds joy in the intersection of art and culinary pursuits. Additionally, Diana is well-versed in everything beauty, adding another layer to her multifaceted personality.

Junior Accounts Manager

Emily, became a member of the accounts team in January 2024. With over 5 years of experience in motor industry sales and administration, Emily brings expertise and efficiency to our team. A makeup and beauty enthusiast, she's also a former member of the Royal Academy of Dance, showcasing grace and precision in all she does. Outside of work, Emily is an avid food connoisseur, always seeking culinary delights to tantalise her taste buds. With her diverse skills and vibrant personality, Emily is an invaluable asset to our team, consistently adding her unique touch to every aspect of her work.

Junior Accounts Manager

Sally joined Cleaver in November 2023 as a vibrant Junior Accounts Manager whose professional journey is as diverse as her interests. With a background in sales and two businesses under her belt, Sally brings a unique perspective to our financial team. Beyond the world of numbers, Sally is a passionate reptile enthusiast, proudly owning snakes, tarantulas, and lizards. Her adventurous spirit extends to her family, where she shares a love for Lego building with her husband and two kids. Beyond the blocks, Sally is also a big makeup and beauty enthusiast, adding a touch of creativity to both her professional and personal endeavours. With a dynamic blend of business acumen and personal flair, Sally is a valuable asset to our team, embodying the spirit of versatility and passion.

Accounts Manager

Tanya is a meticulous Accounts Manager who joined us in June 2022. Alongside Karan, she oversees our property portfolio, ensuring its seamless management. Tanya's responsibilities extend to handling all aspects of accounts and conducting weekly meetings with our property manager to guarantee operational efficiency. With her sharp attention to detail and proactive approach, Tanya plays a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of our properties.

In-House Maintenance

Head of Maintenance

Taryn joined our property management team in September 2019, having worked in commercial property and facilities management for 14 years. In September 2020, Taryn went on maternity leave to raise her beautiful baby girl. We have now welcomed her back to Cleaver Property Management, on a part-time basis, to manage our In-House Maintenance Team.

Finance and Contracts Administrator

Jane joined Cleaver Property Management in 2018 as an Accounts Manager. She began her career in France (where she earned her Business Degree), before moving back to the UK and gaining experience in the Financial Services industry. Jane has now moved to a different role, working with the Maintenance team to assist with all aspects of property administration, such as contract renewals, planned maintenance and general admin.

Compliance and Marketing Manager

Sirina joined Cleaver Property Management in January 2022. After studying Law, Sirina wanted to pursue a career in a more varied industry. With her legal background, Sirina was able to navigate the world of compliance and legislation and has even branched out into Marketing. In her personal time, when not making healthy food or working out in the gym, you’re likely to find her browsing perfume stores, topping up her already ample collection. 

Maintenance Operations Manager

Mark joined Cleaver Property Management in 2018 bringing with him many years of knowledge and experience. Mark’s various skills within the maintenance sector help greatly to meet the demands of our ever growing business. Mark provides support to the Property Managers and liaises with contractors and suppliers to ensure effective solutions to maintenance requests.

Maintenance Operative

Kevin joined our maintenance team in October 2022, with his wealth of knowledge in project management, you can be assured that your property is in safe hands as he has over 20 years’ experience as a painter/decorator. When he’s not working, Kevin finds joy in renovating and flipping apartments, and when he’s not got his handy man cap on, he is cooking up a storm in the kitchen, making his famous chilli dish. Although Kevin also has 15 years of experience in IT, he loves being active and being outdoors and is happiest whilst fishing or wild camping. 

Maintenance Administrator

Sarah started at Cleaver Property Management in August 2023. She brings a distinctive touch to the role with a background in Animal Management and prior experience in a veterinary practice. Her passion for animals extends beyond the professional realm, evident in her love for nature and the outdoors. Frequently engaging in fishing expeditions, Sarah finds solace in the tranquility of outdoor settings. Her unique blend of professional expertise and a genuine love for the environment makes her an invaluable member of the Cleaver team, adding a refreshing perspective to the organisation's ethos.

Dog Department

(CEO) Cute Executive Officer

Mabel is the Cleaver family's beloved English Bulldog, our team mascot and star of our Facebook page. When she's not snoring away in Sue's office, Mabel enjoys walkies, belly rubs, playing fetch and being fed (not necessarily in that order). She is loved by all the team (she has a long line of voluntary dog sitters) and in return is always happy to see everyone. She is currently living in the South West of France enjoying the weather.
